REHABILITACJA Fair takes place in Łódź, which is third biggest city in Poland and the former textile industry empire. Today Łódź is a city of unique palaces, villas and nineteenth-century textile factories. The city of art festivals, openings, exhibitions, and exciting music events. It’s a metropolis where a  landscape of industrial architecture mixes with silhouettes of the 20th century office buildings and production halls transformed into a modern, stylish objects.

Łódź is uniquely important communication hub, linking many national routes and two trans-european highways. Lodz Airport is located in the south-western part of the city, 6 km away from the Hala Expo, which is multifunctional exhibition and congress center.

The Airport location ensures fast access to the very centre of Lodz (Piotrkowska Street) and the main train station (Lodz Kaliska). It takes a few minutes to get to Lodz hotels and shopping centres. The Lodz Widzew train station may be reached in approximately 30 minutes.

BY PLANE

Łódź can be reached from three diffrent airports:

Lodz Airport is located in the south-western part of the city, 6 km away from the Hala Expo, where Boatshow is held. 31 European capitals are within the range of regional flights from Lodz Airport. Main destinations are: Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Dublin, Eeast Midlands, London Stansted.

 

Warsaw Chopin Airport is an international airport located in Warsaw . As Poland’s largest covering 834 hectares of land, and busiest airport, Warsaw Chopin handles just under 40% of the country’s air passenger traffic. Getting to Łódź from Warsaw Chopin Airport takes approximately 90 minutes.

 

Wrsaw Modlin Airport is located 150 km north of Łódź. The airport is intended to be used by low-cost carriers, currently exclusively served by Ryanair.

BY CAR

An excellent geographical location is the main advantage of the city – in the center of Poland, at the junction of motorways and railway main lines, mainly transit directions of east-west and north-south,  junction between two motorways: A1 (north – south) and A2 (east – west). The city is located only 130 km from Warsaw, the closest border crossing is in Cieszyn, at a distance of approximately 280 km.
